Quizzes that help students identify their strengths and weaknesses in GCSE Computer Science so they can target their revision more effectively.
These quizzes provide GCSE Computer Science students with interactive tests designed to help them prepare for their exams. The quizzes are aligned with the AQA and OCR syllabuses, offering targeted revision for key topics in the curriculum. Teachers can use these quizzes as part of their lesson plans or encourage students to complete them as independent revision.
Personalized Feedback
After completing each quiz, students will receive feedback that highlights their strengths and areas to improve. This allows them to focus their revision where it’s needed most.
Track Progress
With 2 tests available for each exam board, students can monitor their own progress over time, making their revision more effective and targeted.
Interactive Learning
The quizzes make revision more engaging, helping students retain key information in a way that feels more interactive than traditional study methods.
We understand that student safety and privacy are top priorities for schools and teachers. These quizzes have been designed with that in mind:
No personal information is required – students do not need to sign in, create an account or enter any identifying details.
No advertising – the quizzes are completely free from ads or commercial content.
No external links to third-party content – the only link provided at the end of a quiz is to the official BBC Bitesize website, for further revision support.
No data is collected or stored – students' results are not saved or tracked. Once they leave the page, their data is permanently erased.
Because no data is stored, students are advised to make a note of their results if they want to refer to them later. This setup ensures the quizzes are safe, anonymous and compliant with data protection standards, making them suitable for use in any school setting.
Classroom Revision: Assign the tests as homework or use them in class to gauge your students' understanding of specific topics.
Identify Weak Areas: Use the test results to identify where students need extra help, then tailor your lessons to address those areas.
Motivation: Encourage students to take the the two tests at different stages of their revision, helping them stay on track and focused on improving.
We suggest adding a link to the quizzes on your school’s website so that students can easily access them. This could be on the revision page or subject page of your school site. The quizzes are available for both AQA and OCR students, so make sure to link to the correct version.
While it’s great to also include these resources on your VLE, placing them on the public website allows students to access them easily, anytime and helps improve the visibility of this resource for everyone.
Your support in doing this would be greatly appreciated!
